Does your club organise green lane trips, or would it like to? Maybe we can help!
Affiliate membership gives the club a single user account on TrailWise2, the most comprehensive green lane route planning tool available in the UK. If you have any questions about specific green lanes, our area representatives are also available to answer them if you have any before you venture out on your next trip.
Your club’s affiliation to the Green Lane Association will contribute financially to supporting our efforts to keep the green lanes we all enjoy open, not just for the present, but hopefully for future generations to come. The association has promotional membership bundles for affiliated clubs that would like to offer their members an introductory combined club & Green Lane Association membership. For more information, and to discuss further, please contact
Highlighting your affiliation with us and following the Green Lane Association Code of Conduct adds credence to your club, and shows that you are encouraging your members to be responsible drivers/riders who care about preserving the lanes that they use.

Additional information:
A club membership provides one account for each club, including TrailWise 2 access for your Rights of Way Officer/Laning Leader. Logins must not be shared and the Green Lane Association suggests any active green laners within the club join as individuals. Please also note that supplier discount codes should not be shared with club members, they should be used to benefit the club.
Many of the larger clubs collect funds each time they have a green laning trip and then donate online to our Legal / Fighting Fund as they feel appropriate. These donations contribute greatly to our ability to afford the legal costs of challenging lane closures.
We also appreciate members visiting and ‘liking’ our Facebook page and our YouTube channel. Sharing important messages from our social media helps educate those outside the 4x4 and trail riding community to understand that what we do is legal, sustainable, and a legitimate hobby.
We love to hear from our affiliates, if you have any club laning trips or stories to share with us please send them to our Media Officer at
