GLASS needs your support - vehicular use of the countryside is under threat. Help us by:
- Becoming a Corporate Member.
- Advertising with us
- Making a donation
Corporate Membership of GLASS will enable you to support our work in keeping lanes open for vehicular use, and add your voice to the fight.
You can advertise your products or services in our Quarterly Magazine "Green Lanes" which is read by an estimated 4,000 4x4 owners/users.
GLASS has a dedicated research fund which is used exclusively to fund research and protect vehicular rights of way in the UK.
There are many threats to Green Lanes from other user groups , land owners , local councils (usually through lack of maintenance) , and a plethora of Government legislation. All of this activity needs to be monitored and many of the consultations need professional responses from GLASS.
In addition, GLASS is undertaking a massive project called TrailWise
This is an online database of all Green Lanes and other Rights of Way in the UK. This undertaking, in conjunction with other user groups, will eventually document the location, condition and status of all Green Lanes in the country.
GLASS is the main body representing recreational vehicular use of Green lanes. To assist us in researching and defending this valuable heritage we need your help. So please consider joining us and add your voice to the fight. If you would rather just advertise with us or even simply make a contribution to the research fund, GLASS and thousands of Green Lane users will be most grateful for the help you have given.
